qt-gstreamer

Thornton, Keith

Hi, I’m interested in using the qt-gstreamer stuff with QML2 under Windows 7/64 and GStreamer 1.2.3.

Can anyone tell me the current status and whether anyone is working on the port to 1.2.3 and qt5 at the moment.

Gruesse

The version in git master can work with Qt5. But I don't think anybody
is currently working on porting it to GStreamer 1.x unfortunately.

I have a vague memory of George K. saying at FOSDEM that someone was
working on it already and that she was almost done with it, but don't
know if that work in progress is public somewhere.

Hi,

Diane Trout has been working on that, and her branch is at:
https://github.com/detrout/qt-gstreamer

I am in the process of reviewing it and hoping for a release soon...

Regards,
George

I tried  Vidsual Studio 2010 + Qt5 + Gstreamer 1.x + qt-gstreamer-1.2.0 on Windows 7.
I modified the *.cmake files under "qt-gstreamer-1.2.0\cmake\modules" and passed the configure& generate of cmake.
I compile the code in VS2010 and I was able to pass Qt5GLib module, but when comes to Qt5Gstreamer, lot of errors come(my VS2010 is chinese version, I tried to translate some of the errors to English):
1>ClCompile:
1>  init.cpp
1>D:\Qt\Qt5.2.1\5.2.1\msvc2010\include\QtCore/qchar.h(50): error C2144: syntax error :'QString' should be preceded by ';'
1>D:\Qt\Qt5.2.1\5.2.1\msvc2010\include\QtCore/qchar.h(50): error C4430:  missing type specifier - int assumed. Note: C++ does not support default-int.
1>D:\Qt\Qt5.2.1\5.2.1\msvc2010\include\QtCore/qchar.h(57): error C2146: syntax error: missing ';' before identifier 'unicode'
1>D:\Qt\Qt5.2.1\5.2.1\msvc2010\include\QtCore/qchar.h(57): error C2433: “QLatin1Char::ushort”: 不允许在数据声明中使用“inline”
