GStreamer for Chrome OS (Chromebook devices)

Akon2
Hi all,

I was enjoying GStreamer on different platforms, but now I'm wondering if
it's feasable to get GStreamer working on a Chromebook. In particular, I
need to receive H.264 videostream (using 'libav') over UDP/RTP.

1. Are there any Cerbero scripts exist to target Chrome OS? Chrome OS
introduces some restrictions for Android apps (especially for ones using
NDK), so straighforward way to use GStreamer for Android in Chrome OS,
probably, will not be viable.

2. Maybe, building GSreamer for Android with special build flags (to meet
Chrome OS restrictions) will get success. Did someone try?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I am also in need to stream H264/MJPEG on Chrome Os over WiFi @720p60.
Can you please suggest if I can use Gstreamer to stream video at desired
speed and in desired format as mentioned above.

I don't think anyone have had a look at that yet. It would be nice to share what is possible and what's not on this OS.

Regards,
