DASH Plugin

SAJID MUSHTAQ
Hello,
I want to install the Dash Plugin.

Currently, I have installed the gst-plugin-bad-1.1.2, and copy the isomp4 folder from gst-plugin-good-1.1.2 but after make install, I try to run gst-launch playbin uri= http://......example.mpd. I am getting some error.

I have run the "gst-inspect dashdemux" then I get the answer,  " No such element or plugin ".

Please help and guide  me to install this DASH plugin.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
             SAJID

Why? That seems like a strange way to build it.

Is your GST_PLUGIN_PATH set to wherever the plugins are being installed to?

The build seems fine, but it looks like you're installing to /usr/local.

Is your GST_PLUGIN_PATH set to point to it when inspecting? Otherwise
gst-inspect will look at the default path (/usr/lib/gstreamer-1.0).

This error here is the issue now. You are missing an http source
element. Likely souphttpsrc (uses libsoup, obviously). It seems that you
might want to build/install more elements. To check all available
elements you can use gst-inspect-1.0 (with your GST_PLUGIN_PATH set).

Looks to me that you either want to install more elements to your path,
or you might want to add more directories to your GST_PLUGIN_PATH.
Depends on what you are trying to do.
